Meatball Parm Wedge Ingredients
Method
Preparation Directions
- 1
Prepare the Meatballs
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Form the Meatballs
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter.
- 3
Cook the Meatballs
In a large skillet over medium heat, add a little oil and cook the meatballs until browned on all sides. This should take about 10 minutes.
- 4
Add the Marinara Sauce
Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs in the skillet, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through.
- 5
Prepare the Wedge
While the meatballs are simmering, slice the Terranova bread in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet.
- 6
Assemble the Wedge
Once the meatballs are cooked, spoon them along with the sauce onto the bread. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- 7
Bake
Place the baking sheet in the oven and broil for about 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 8
Serve
Remove from the oven, slice into wedges, and serve warm.
