Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the Wagyu steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and black pepper. Dice the bacon and chop the green onions.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the diced bacon and cook until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.

  3. 3

    Sear the Wagyu Steak

In the same skillet, add the Wagyu steak pieces and sear for about 2-3 minutes until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  4. 4

    Fry the Rice

Add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet. Add the cooked rice and kimchi, stirring to combine. Add soy sauce and mojo rojo sauce, mixing well. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked bacon and Wagyu steak back to the skillet. Sprinkle with chili crisps and half of the chopped green onions. Stir to incorporate everything, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  6. 6

    Fry the Eggs

In a separate skillet, fry the eggs sunny-side up in a bit of oil until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.

  7. 7

    Serve

Plate the fried rice and top with a sunny-side up egg. Garnish with the remaining green onions and additional chili crisps if desired.
