Breakfast Sandwich Ingredients

Method

Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook Sausage

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  2. 2

    Fry Eggs

In the same skillet, crack the eggs and fry them to your preference (sunny side up, over easy, etc.). Season with salt and black pepper. If desired, you can cover the skillet to help the eggs cook evenly.

  3. 3

    Assemble Sandwich

While the eggs are cooking, toast the slices of white bread in another skillet or toaster until golden brown. Once toasted, spread butter on one side of each slice.

  4. 4

    Layer Ingredients

On one slice of buttered bread, layer a sausage patty, a fried egg, and a slice of cheddar cheese. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side out.

  5. 5

    Grill Sandwich

Place the assembled sandwich back in the skillet over medium heat. Grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove the sandwich from the skillet, cut in half if desired, and serve immediately.
