Preparation of Tea

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes depending on how strong you want it.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, remove the tea bags and discard them. If you wish to add sweetener, stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar or honey until dissolved.
Flavoring the Tea

If desired, add lemon slices and fresh mint leaves to the brewed tea for additional flavor. Let it sit for an additional 10 minutes to infuse.
Cooling the Tea

Cool Down
Pour the hot tea into a pitcher and add 1 cup of cold water to help cool it down. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold.

Fill glasses with 2 cups of ice cubes.
