Prepare the Coffee
Brew 240 ml of strong espresso or coffee and let it cool to room temperature.

Mix Egg Yolks and Sugar
In a mixing bowl, whisk together 4 egg yolks and 100 g of sugar until the mixture is pale and creamy.

Add Mascarpone
Gently fold in 500 g of mascarpone cheese into the egg yolk mixture until smooth and well combined.

Whip the Cream
In a separate bowl, whip 200 ml of heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Combine Mixtures
Carefully fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture, ensuring it stays light and airy. Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract and mix until combined.

Soak Ladyfingers
Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the cooled coffee to soak, making sure they do not become too soggy.

Layer the Ingredients
In a rectangular dish, arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.

Repeat Layers
Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers on top of the mascarpone layer, followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Chill
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Serving

Dust with Cocoa
Before serving, sift 30 g of cocoa powder evenly over the top of the tiramisu.
