Method

For the Bruschetta

  1. 1

    Prepare the Baguette

Slice the baguette into 1-inch thick slices. Brush both sides lightly with olive oil.

  2. 2

    Toast the Bread

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the slices on a baking sheet and toast for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  3. 3

    Spread Goat Cheese

Once toasted, spread a generous amount of goat cheese on each slice of bread.

  4. 4

    Add Garlic and Basil

Finely mince the garlic and sprinkle over the goat cheese. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.

For the Pomodoro Sauce

  1. 5

    Prepare Tomatoes

Blanch the tomatoes in hot water for 30 seconds, then transfer to ice water. Peel, deseed, and chop the tomatoes.

  2. 6

    Cook the Pomodoro Sauce

In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and fresh basil. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.

For the Handmade Sausage

  1. 7

    Mix the Sausage Ingredients

In a bowl, combine ground pork, fennel seeds, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.

  2. 8

    Form the Sausages

Shape the mixture into small sausage links or patties, about 4 inches long.

  3. 9

    Cook the Sausage

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausages for about 7-10 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
