Sauté Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, carrots, and celery. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are softened.

Brown the Beef
Increase the heat to medium-high, add the ground beef, and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon (about 8-10 minutes).

Add Tomato Sauce and Seasonings
Stir in the tomato sauce, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Mix well to combine.

Simmer
Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. This allows the flavors to meld.

Serve the Bolognese sauce over your favorite pasta, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
