Sauce Base

Method

Prepare the Pasta

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gluten-free pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce

  1. 2

    Melt Butter and Sauté Garlic

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  2. 3

    Add Heavy Cream

Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring continuously. Let the mixture come to a simmer and cook for about 5-7 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.

  3. 4

    Season the Sauce

Stir in salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

  4. 5

    Incorporate the Cheeses

Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese and softened cream cheese to the sauce, stirring until melted and smooth.

Combine and Serve

  1. 6

    Mix Pasta with Sauce

Add the cooked gluten-free pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the creamy Alfredo sauce.

  2. 7

    Serve Hot

Serve the Alfredo pasta hot, garnished with additional grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
