Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the campanelle pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the crushed San Marzano tomatoes and stir well. Season with salt and black pepper.

Simmer the Sauce
Let the sauce simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add half of the fresh basil leaves during the last 5 minutes of cooking.

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked campanelle pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss gently to coat the pasta evenly in the sauce.

Add Mozzarella
Tear the fresh mozzarella into pieces and add it to the pasta. Toss gently until the mozzarella begins to soften.

Serve
Plate the pasta and garnish with the remaining fresh basil. Serve immediately and enjoy!
