Prepare the Tomato Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine the halved grape tomatoes, minced garlic, and balsamic vinegar. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Gently toss to combine and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.

Prepare the Crostini
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place crostini on a baking sheet and brush with the remaining tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Bake in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

Assemble the Dish
On each crostini, spoon a generous amount of the tomato mixture. Tear the mozzarella burrata into pieces and place on top of the tomatoes. Garnish with fresh basil and additional salt and pepper if desired.
