Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tomato Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine the halved grape tomatoes, minced garlic, and balsamic vinegar. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Gently toss to combine and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Crostini

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place crostini on a baking sheet and brush with the remaining tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Bake in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Dish

On each crostini, spoon a generous amount of the tomato mixture. Tear the mozzarella burrata into pieces and place on top of the tomatoes. Garnish with fresh basil and additional salt and pepper if desired.
