Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Clean the Mushrooms

Rinse the King Oyster mushrooms under cold running water to remove any dirt or debris. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.

  2. 2

    Slice the Mushrooms

Using a sharp knife, slice the mushrooms into thick pieces (about 1/2 inch) for better texture during cooking.

  3. 3

    Prepare Garlic

Peel the garlic cloves and finely mince them using a knife or a garlic press.

  4. 4

    Chop Parsley

Rinse the fresh parsley, shake off excess water, and chop it coarsely.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

  2. 6

    Sauté Mushrooms

Add the sliced King Oyster mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and tender.

  3. 7

    Add Garlic

Once the mushrooms are browned, add the minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

  4. 8

    Season the Mushrooms

Pour the soy sauce and lemon juice over the mushrooms. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Stir well to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

  5. 9

    Finish with Parsley

Remove the skillet from heat and add the chopped parsley. Give it a final stir to mix everything together.
