Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by measuring out the Planteray Barbados 5-year rum, Powers Gold Distiller's Cut whiskey, Giffard Banane du Bresil, mango puree, orange cream citrate, and saline solution into separate jiggers or measuring cups.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Glass

Chill a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water while you prepare the drink. This will ensure the drink stays cold longer.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combine the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add the measured Planteray Barbados 5-year rum, Powers Gold Distiller's Cut whiskey, Giffard Banane du Bresil, mango puree, orange cream citrate, and saline solution.

  2. 4

    Shake the Mixture

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Serving

  1. 5

    Strain and Serve

Discard the ice water from the chilled cocktail glass. Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the shaken mixture into the glass.

  2. 6

    Garnish (Optional)

If desired, garnish with a slice of fresh mango or a twist of orange peel for added aroma and visual appeal.
