Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Water
In a medium-sized pot, add 4 cups of water and bring it to a boil over high heat.
- 2
Add Edamame
Once the water is boiling, add 2 cups of edamame beans (in pods) to the pot.
- 3
Steam the Edamame
Cover the pot and let the edamame steam in the boiling water for about 5-7 minutes until they are bright green and tender.
- 4
Drain and Season
After steaming, carefully drain the edamame in a colander. Transfer them to a serving bowl and sprinkle 1 teaspoon of sea salt over the top. Toss gently to coat.
- 5
Serve
Serve the edamame warm as a snack or appetizer. Enjoy by popping the beans out of the pods into your mouth!
