Prepare the Edamame
Rinse the edamame pods under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Ensure they are fresh and vibrant green in color.

Boil the Water
In a medium-sized pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Drain and Season
After steaming, carefully drain the edamame in a colander. While still warm, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of sea salt over the edamame and toss gently to coat.

Serve
Transfer the seasoned edamame to a serving bowl. Enjoy warm as a snack, appetizer, or side dish. The pods can be opened to eat the beans inside.
