Method
Preparation
- 1
Boil Water
Bring 1 cup of freshly filtered water to a boil in a kettle. Remove from heat once it reaches a rolling boil.
- 2
Cool Water
Allow the boiled water to cool for about 2-3 minutes. The ideal temperature for brewing Dragonwell green tea is around 175°F (80°C).
- 3
Measure Tea Leaves
While the water is cooling, measure out 2 teaspoons of Dragonwell green tea leaves.
Brewing
- 4
Steep Tea
Add the measured tea leaves into a teapot or cup. Pour the cooled water over the tea leaves.
- 5
Infusion Time
Allow the tea to steep for about 2-3 minutes. Adjust steeping time according to your taste preference; a shorter time will yield a lighter flavor, while a longer steep will produce a stronger brew.
- 6
Strain Tea
After steeping, strain the tea leaves using a fine mesh strainer or tea infuser to separate the liquid from the leaves.
