Prepare the Dough

Knead the Dough

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Shape the Bofrot
Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into small balls (about 2 inches in diameter).

Place the shaped dough balls on a floured tray, cover with a towel, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the dough balls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
