Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mango Puree

Peel and chop a ripe mango and blend it until smooth to create a mango puree. You can also use store-bought mango puree.

  2. 2

    Juice the Fruits

Extract the juice from fresh passion fruits and limes. Strain to remove any seeds for a smooth finish.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Scotch Bonnet

Carefully slice the Scotch bonnet pepper in half and remove the seeds if you want to reduce heat. Use only half for the drink.

Mixing the Drink

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, combine the Afrique Vodka, Select Aperitivo, mango puree, passion fruit juice, lime juice, and pineapple juice.

  2. 5

    Add Spice

Add the half Scotch bonnet pepper to the shaker to infuse a spicy kick to the drink. Be cautious with the amount based on your spice preference.

  3. 6

    Shake it Up

Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is chilled.

Serving

  1. 7

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass, ensuring that no solids or pepper pieces make it into the glass.

  2. 8

    Garnish

Garnish the drink with a slice of mango, a lime wheel on the rim, and a couple of fresh mint leaves for a refreshing finish.
