Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Prawns
In a large bowl, clean the carabineiros by removing the shells and deveining them. Rinse under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
Make the Garlic Mixture
Mince the garlic cloves and mix them in a bowl with olive oil, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Marinate the Prawns
Add the cleaned prawns to the garlic mixture. Toss to coat evenly and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cook the Prawns
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated prawns to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
Add Lemon and Parsley
Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the cooked prawns and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
Serve
Serve the garlicky jumbo prawns immediately with toasted Portuguese rolls on the side for dipping.
