Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Add Herbs
Once the water is boiling, add 2 tablespoons of dried chamomile flowers, 1 tablespoon of dried peppermint leaves, and 1 teaspoon of dried ginger root to the saucepan.

Simmer
Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors and properties of the herbs to infuse into the water.

Strain the Mixture
After simmering, remove the saucepan from heat and strain the herbal mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a mug, discarding the solid herbs.

Add Sweetener and Flavor
Stir in 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice into the strained herbal infusion until well combined.

Serve Hot
Serve the hot toddy immediately, garnished with a lemon slice or a sprig of fresh mint if desired.
