Preparing the Tea
Brew the Bengal Spice Tea
In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the Bengal Spice tea bags and steep for 5-7 minutes. Remove the tea bags and set aside.
Brew the Cacao Tea
In another saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the cacao tea bags and steep for 5-7 minutes. Remove the tea bags and combine with the Bengal Spice tea in a large mixing bowl.
Combining Ingredients
Mix the Flavor Enhancements
In the mixing bowl with the brewed tea, add the maple syrup, ancho chili powder, and bitters. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Serving the Drink
Serve Hot
Pour the spiced tea mixture into mugs and serve hot. Optionally, garnish with a sprinkle of ancho chili powder or a cinnamon stick for additional flavor.
