Method
Prepare Coffee Base
- 1
Brew
Brew 1 cup of strong hot coffee. If you prefer extra coffee intensity, pull 1 shot of espresso and combine with 3/4 cup hot brewed coffee to reach approximately 1 cup total.
- 2
Preheat the serving glass or mug by rinsing with hot water, then discard the water.
Assemble Drink
- 3
Place 1 teaspoon Hershey's chocolate syrup into the bottom of the warmed mug. Swirl to lightly coat the bottom and lower sides.
- 4
Add 1 tablespoon Frangelico and 1/2 tablespoon Stoli Vanil (vanilla vodka) into the mug. Pour in the hot coffee (and espresso if using) slowly to help incorporate the liqueurs and syrup.
- 5
Stir gently for 10–15 seconds until the chocolate syrup dissolves and the liqueurs are evenly mixed.
Finish & Garnish
- 6
Pour 2 tablespoons heavy cream or half-and-half over the back of a spoon onto the surface of the coffee to create a layered appearance, or simply add and stir for a uniform creamy texture.
- 7
Top with 2 tablespoons whipped cream if desired. Finish with a light dusting of chocolate shavings or 1 teaspoon cocoa powder.
- 8
Serve immediately with a small spoon for stirring and enjoy while hot.
