Preparation

  1. 1

    Chill Your Glass

Start by chilling a coupe or cocktail glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the drink.

  2. 2

    Mix the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 oz of Chartreuse Green Liqueur, 1 oz of gin, and 0.5 oz of fresh lime juice.

  3. 3

    Shake

Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the mixture is well chilled.

  4. 4

    Strain

Remove the ice water from your chilled glass and strain the mixture from the shaker into the glass.

Garnishing

  1. 5

    Add Mint

Gently slap the fresh mint leaves between your palms to release their aroma, then float them on top of the drink.

  2. 6

    Finish with Lime

Add a lime wheel as a garnish on the rim of the glass for an extra touch of flavor and presentation.
