Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

Rinse the shrimp under cold water to remove any debris. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Steamer

In a large pot, add 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil. Place a steamer basket or a colander inside the pot, making sure that it does not touch the water.

  3. 3

    Season the Shrimp

In a bowl, toss the cleaned shrimp with 2 tablespoons of Old Bay Seasoning until they are evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Steam the Shrimp

Once the water is boiling, place the seasoned shrimp into the steamer basket. Cover the pot with a lid and steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the shrimp from the steamer and squeeze the juice of 1 whole lemon over them. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
