Cheesecake

1

Prepare the Crust

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.

2

Make the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.

3

Bake

Pour the filling over the prepared crust and bake for 60 minutes. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.

4

Chill

Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours before serving.

Carrot Cake

5

Prep and Mix Dry Ingredients

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

6

Add Wet Ingredients

Add vegetable oil and eggs to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Stir in grated carrots and walnuts.

7

Bake the Cake

Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

8

Cool and Serve

Let the cake cool completely before serving. Top with cream cheese frosting if desired.

Apple Crisp

9

Prepare the Apples

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, toss sliced apples with sugar and cinnamon.

10

Make the Topping

In another bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and softened butter until crumbly.

11

Assemble and Bake

Place the apple mixture in a baking dish and top with the crumb mixture. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the topping is golden.

12

Cool and Serve

Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with ice cream if desired.

Biscuit Strawberry Shortcake

13

Prepare the Biscuits

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

14

Add Milk and Bake

Stir in milk until just combined. Turn the dough onto a floured surface, knead gently, and roll out to 1-inch thickness. Cut into rounds and bake for 12-15 minutes.

15

Assemble the Shortcake

Slice the biscuits in half. Layer with sliced strawberries and whipped cream. Top with the other half of the biscuit.

16
