Cookie Preparation

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix the Butter and Sugars
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop large balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
