Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Meatballs
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and form into small meatballs, about the size of a golf ball.
- 2
Cook the Meatballs
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- 3
Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 4
Prepare the Sauce
In the same skillet used for the meatballs, add tomato sauce and bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 5
Combine
Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss to coat evenly. Serve the spaghetti topped with meatballs, grated Parmesan cheese, and fresh basil leaves.
