Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2
Dredging
Set up a dredging station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate bowls. Dip each chicken breast first in flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- 3
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the breaded chicken cutlets for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 4
Add Marinara and Cheese
Once cooked, place the chicken cutlets in a baking dish. Top each cutlet with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
- 5
Bake
Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- 6
Garnish and Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil if desired, then serve hot.
