Marinated Tuna

Bowl Ingredients

Method

Preparing the Tuna

1

Marinate the Tuna

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and chopped scallions. Cut the yellowfin tuna into bite-sized cubes and add to the marinade. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

2

Toast the Sesame Seeds

In a small pan, toast the sesame seeds over medium heat until golden brown, stirring frequently. Set aside.

Preparing the Bowl

3

Cook the Jasmine Rice

Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook according to package instructions, using water or broth for added flavor. Once cooked, fluff with a fork and let cool slightly.

4

Prepare the Wakame

Soak the wakame seaweed in warm water for about 10 minutes until rehydrated, then drain and set aside.

5

Prepare the Avocado

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and slice it into thin pieces.

Assembling the Bowl

6

Assemble Your Poké Bowl

In a bowl, start with a base of jasmine rice, then add marinated tuna, wakame, avocado slices, and edamame. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top and serve immediately.
