Fresh Catch

Method

Prepare the Fish

  1. 1

    Cook the Fish

Preheat the grill or skillet over medium heat. Rub the fish fillets with olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily.

Cook the Sunchokes

  1. 2

    Sauté Sunchokes

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add the sliced sunchokes and vegetable broth. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the sunchokes are tender.

Prepare the Tatsoi Salad

  1. 3

    Mix the Salad

In a large bowl, combine tatsoi leaves, toasted sunflower seeds, lemon juice, and olive oil. Toss gently to combine and set aside.

Make the Lemon Aioli

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic, and salt until well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Serve the Dish

  1. 5

    Plate and Enjoy

On a plate, serve the cooked fish alongside the sautéed sunchokes and tatsoi salad. Drizzle with lemon aioli and enjoy your fresh catch!
