Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Nitro Short Rib

Season the short rib with salt and pepper. Sear it in a hot skillet until browned on all sides. Add a splash of beef broth or water, cover, and cook low and slow until tender, about 2-3 hours. Shred the meat and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the red onion and bell pepper into thin strips. In the same skillet, sauté the vegetables until softened, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Sandwich

Butter one side of each slice of bread. On the unbuttered side, layer shredded short rib, Swiss cheese, cheddar cheese, sautéed red onion, and bell pepper. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.

  4. 4

    Grill the Sandwich

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Grill the sandwich on both sides until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Fries

While the sandwich is grilling, prepare the fries according to package instructions. Serve alongside the sandwich.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the sandwich is grilled and the fries are ready, slice the sandwich in half and serve hot with your choice of fries.
