Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Pork
Rub the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and brown sugar. Place it in a slow cooker.
- 2
Add Aromatics
Chop the onion and garlic, then add them to the slow cooker. Pour in the apple cider vinegar.
- 3
Cook the Pork
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
- 4
Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork shoulder from the slow cooker and shred with two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix with the Kansas City BBQ sauce.
- 5
Assemble the Sliders
Slice the brioche slider buns in half. Place a generous amount of the BBQ pulled pork on the bottom half of each bun, add dill pickles, and top with the other half of the bun.
