Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Rice
Cook the brown rice or jasmine rice according to package instructions. Set aside once done.
Make the Slaw
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, chopped cilantro, and lime juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and set aside.
Cook the Shrimp
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat until it begins to brown. Add the minced garlic and turmeric, stirring for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque. Pour in the sweet chili sauce and toss to coat the shrimp.
Serve
Serve the shrimp over the cooked rice, topped with the fresh slaw.
