Filet Mignon

Roasted Russet Potatoes

Grilled Asparagus

Red Wine Demi Sauce

Method

Filet Mignon

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filet Mignon

Rub the filet mignon with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Let it rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes before grilling.

  2. 2

    Grill the Filet Mignon

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the filet mignon for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until the desired doneness is reached. Remove from the grill and let it rest.

Sautéed Shrimp

  1. 3

    Cook the Shrimp

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Stir in lemon juice and parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Roasted Russet Potatoes

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the cubed russet potatoes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and chopped rosemary in a bowl.

  2. 5

    Roast the Potatoes

Spread the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 30-35 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Grilled Asparagus

  1. 6

    Prepare the Asparagus

Toss the asparagus spears with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 7

    Grill the Asparagus

On a hot grill, cook the asparagus for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.

Red Wine Demi Sauce

  1. 8

    Make the Demi Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté the minced shallots in butter until soft. Add red wine and beef stock, then bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until the sauce is reduced by half, about 15-20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
