Method
Prepare Pasta
- 1
Cook Bucatini Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bucatini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.
Cook Chicken
- 2
Grill Chicken Breast
Season the boneless chicken breast with salt and pepper. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from grill, let it rest, then slice into strips.
Prepare Crab and Sauce
- 3
Make Cajun Cream Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle in the Cajun seasoning. Stir to combine and simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened. Add grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Sauté Vegetables
- 4
Cook Tuscan Vegetables
In another pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced zucchini, red bell pepper, and halved cherry tomatoes. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still vibrant.
Combine and Serve
- 5
Combine Everything
In the skillet with the Cajun cream sauce, add the cooked bucatini pasta, sautéed vegetables, and lump crab meat. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- 6
Serve
Plate the pasta and top with sliced grilled chicken. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
