Kofta Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

1

Prepare the Fish Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped fish, onion, garlic, dill, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

2

Shape the Kofta

With wet hands, take a portion of the fish mixture and mold it into an oval shape. Repeat until all the mixture is shaped into kofta.

3

Preheat the Grill or Oven

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or your oven to 200°C (400°F).

4

Skewer the Kofta

If grilling, thread the shaped kofta onto the wooden skewers. Brush them lightly with olive oil.

5

Cook the Kofta

Grill the kofta for about 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and golden brown. If baking, place them on a lined baking tray and bake for about 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through.

6

Prepare the Tzatziki

While the kofta is cooking, prepare the tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, chopped dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

7

Serve

Once cooked, serve the kofta hot with tzatziki sauce on the side.
