Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patty

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form the mixture into a patty approximately 1 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

  3. 3

    Add BBQ Sauce

In the last minute of cooking, brush the BBQ sauce on one side of the patty and allow it to caramelize slightly.

  4. 4

    Melt the Cheese

Place the slice of sharp cheddar cheese on the patty during the last minute of cooking. Cover to help the cheese melt.

  5. 5

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate pan, cook the smoky bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger bun lightly. On the bottom half, place the BBQ beef patty with melted cheese, followed by crispy bacon and onion rings. Top with the other half of the bun.
