Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into 4 equal-sized patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the patties are cooking, slice the onion and tomato. Rinse the lettuce leaves and set aside.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Toast the burger buns if desired. On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, onion slices, tomato slices, pickle slices, and a drizzle of fry sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the burgers immediately with your favorite sides.
