Fit Turkey Wrap

Select four beers to include in the mix pack. Aim for variety in style (for example: one lager, one pale ale or IPA, one stout or porter, and one seasonal or sour) so the pack offers a range of flavors.

Choose beers

Inspect each bottle or can for dents, leaks, broken seals, or excessive sediment. Confirm best-by dates and ensure any draft/bottle temperatures are appropriate for storage.

Check condition

If desired, apply labels or sticker bands to each beer to indicate name, ABV, or tasting order. Use the permanent marker to note the brewery or any short tasting note directly on the label or a tasting card.

Label and note (optional)

Open the 4-pack carrier and, if using, place a cardboard divider or filler inside to prevent bottles/cans from clanking. Line the carrier with tissue or kraft paper for presentation and extra cushioning.

Prepare carrier

Place the four selected beers into the carrier, arranging heavier/darker beers opposite lighter ones to balance weight and to give a visually appealing mix. Ensure bottles/cans fit snugly and do not press against each other.

Arrange beers

Include tasting notes cards next to each beer or tuck small snack packets into available spaces. If transporting chilled, add a small ice pack wrapped in bubble wrap (do not place ice directly against bottles if freezing is a risk).

Add extras (optional)

Close the carrier securely. If gifting, tie twine or ribbon around the carrier and attach any tasting cards. Write the pack contents or date on the carrier with the permanent marker.

Seal and finish

Store the completed mix pack upright in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. For best flavor, chill lagers and pilsners to 38–45°F (3–7°C), pale ales and IPAs to 45–50°F (7–10°C), and stouts/porters to 50–55°F (10–13°C). If the pack contains beers with different ideal serving temperatures, storing them chilled at roughly 45°F (7°C) is a good compromise until serving.

When ready to serve, open beers in the order you want guests to taste them (typically lightest to heaviest, or most delicate to most robust). Provide appropriate glassware if available: pilsner glasses for lagers, tulip or pint for ales, snifters for big stouts or high-ABV beers.

Recycle or reuse the carrier after use. If you included tasting notes, collect feedback and update future mix packs based on preferences.
