Prepare the Glass
Fill a rocks glass with ice to chill while you prepare the cocktail.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine the Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Demerara Syrup, and Black Walnut Bitters.

Stir the Mixture
Add ice to the mixing glass and stir well for about 30 seconds until chilled.

Strain into Glass
Remove the ice from the chilled rocks glass and strain the mixture into the glass over fresh ice.

Garnish
Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and add the peel as a garnish. Finish with a Luxardo cherry.
