Method
General Preparation
Chill the serving glasses (highball or Collins) in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill them with ice while preparing other components.
If using simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and hot water until sugar dissolves; cool before using.
Vodka & Classic Highball (Vodka Soda)
Build Vodka Soda
Fill a chilled highball glass with ice about three-quarters full. Pour 2 oz well vodka over the ice. Add 4 oz club soda. Gently stir once or twice to combine. Squeeze 0.5 oz fresh lime juice into the drink, drop in the spent lime wedge for aroma, and garnish with a mint sprig. Serve with a straw.
Vodka Tonic
Build Vodka Tonic
Fill a glass with ice. Add 2 oz well vodka. Top with 4 oz tonic water. Add 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice and 2 dashes orange bitters. Stir gently to combine. Garnish with a lemon wheel.
Moscow Mule (Well Vodka Variation)
Build Moscow Mule
Fill a mule mug or highball glass with ice. Add 2 oz well vodka, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 4 oz ginger beer. Stir briefly to combine. Garnish with a lime wedge and a mint sprig. If desired, add a thin jalapeño slice for a spicy kick.
Vodka & Cola (Simple Highball)
Cucumber-Citrus Vodka Cooler
Muddle & Build
In a shaker or sturdy glass, lightly muddle 3 cucumber slices with 0.5 oz simple syrup and 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice. Add 2 oz well vodka and fill with ice. Shake briefly (5 seconds) or stir if using a glass. Strain into an ice-filled highball glass and top with 2–3 oz club soda (adjust to taste). Garnish with an extra cucumber slice and a mint sprig.
