Naughty Nurse Recipe

Prepare glass

Chill a highball or Collins glass by filling it with ice and setting aside while you mix the drink.

Build the cocktail

In a cocktail shaker, add 1 cup of ice cubes, 2 oz vodka, 1 oz peach schnapps, 2 oz cranberry juice, 1 oz pineapple juice, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, 0.25 oz simple syrup, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.

Shake

Secure the shaker and shake vigorously for about 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels cold and slightly frosty.

Strain and layer grenadine

Discard the ice from the chilled glass, then double-strain the shaken mixture into the glass over fresh ice. Slowly pour 0.25 oz grenadine down the side of the glass or over the back of a spoon so it sinks to the bottom and creates a graduated 'blush' effect.

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim and a maraschino cherry on a pick. Serve with a straw. Advise the drinker to stir gently before sipping to evenly distribute the grenadine for a sweeter finish.
