Prepare Chicken and Sausage
Season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper. Slice the Italian sausage into 1-inch pieces.

Chop Vegetables
Slice the bell peppers into strips and mince the garlic cloves.
Cooking

Sear Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs skin-side down and sear until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Flip and sear the other side for another 5 minutes. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Cook Sausage
In the same skillet, add the sliced Italian sausage. Cook until browned, about 5 minutes, then remove and set aside with the chicken.

Combine Ingredients
Return the chicken and sausage to the skillet. Pour in the white wine and chicken broth. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.

Finish Cooking
Cover the skillet and simmer for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Serving

Chop fresh parsley and sprinkle over the dish before serving.
