Prepare the Pecan Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecan nuts, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly distributed.

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Phyllo Dough
Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan. Lay out a sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush it lightly with melted butter. Repeat this process with 4 sheets of phyllo, layering them on top of each other.

Assemble the Konafe
Spread half of the pecan filling evenly over the phyllo layers. Then, layer another 4 sheets of buttered phyllo on top, brushing each sheet with butter. Spread the remaining pecan filling on top.

Bake the Konafe
Carefully cut the assembled konafe into squares or diamonds using a sharp knife. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and crisp.

Serve
Once the konafe is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of honey ice cream on top and a generous portion of the roasted apples.
