Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

2

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

3

Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.

4

Make the BBQ Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine all BBQ sauce ingredients. Simmer for about 20 minutes until thickened.

5

Prepare Sweet Potato Fries

Cut sweet potatoes into fries, toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika. Spread on a baking sheet and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.

6

Make the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and grated carrots. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Combine both mixtures and toss to coat.

7

Finish the Ribs

After the ribs have baked, remove them from the oven, discard the foil, and brush generously with the BBQ sauce. Grill or broil for an additional 10-15 minutes until caramelized.

8

Serve

Slice the ribs and serve with the sweet potato fries and slaw on the side.
