Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a heatproof bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Melt them together over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method) or in the microwave in short bursts, stirring until smooth.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, and gently fold in until well combined.

Add Flour
Sift the all-purpose flour over the chocolate mixture and fold it in gently until just combined.

Fill Ramekins
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.

Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-14 minutes, until the edges are set but the center is still soft.

Serve
Let the fondants sit for 1 minute, then run a knife around the edges and invert them onto plates. Serve immediately with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
