Brioche Buns

Method

Burgers

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions (4 oz each) and shape them into balls. Flatten each ball into a patty, ensuring they are slightly larger than the brioche buns, as they will shrink while cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Patties

Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly on both sides of each patty.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Sear the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and press down with a spatula to smash them flat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.

Honey Butter

  1. 4

    Make the Honey Butter

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, honey, and cinnamon. Whip together until smooth and creamy. Adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired.

Brioche Buns

  1. 5

    Toast the Buns

Slice the brioche buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Build the Burger

Spread a generous amount of honey butter on the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun. Place two smashed burger patties on top, followed by the top half of the bun. Serve immediately.
