Method

Sausage Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Sausage

In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and ground turkey sausage. Break the sausage into small pieces with a spatula.

  2. 2

    Season and Brown

Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 8-10 minutes until the sausage is browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

Gravy Preparation

  1. 3

    Make Roux

In the same skillet used for the sausage, add all-purpose flour and cook for 1-2 minutes over medium heat until lightly browned.

  2. 4

    Add Milk

Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens, about 3-5 minutes.

  3. 5

    Season the Gravy

Season with salt and black pepper. Stir to combine and keep warm on low heat.

Biscuits Preparation

  1. 6

    Mix Dry Ingredients

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

  2. 7

    Cut in the Butter

Add cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  3. 8

    Add Buttermilk

Pour in the buttermilk and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

  4. 9

    Shape the Biscuits

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead a few times. Roll out to about 1-inch thickness and cut into rounds.

  5. 10

    Bake the Biscuits

Place biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Eggs Preparation

  1. 11

    Prep the Skillet

In a non-stick skillet, heat butter over medium-low heat.

  2. 12

    Cook the Eggs

Crack the eggs into the skillet. Cook until the whites are set but the yolks remain runny, about 3-4 minutes.

Breakfast Potatoes Preparation

  1. 13

    Prepare the Potatoes

Dice the potatoes into small cubes. In a bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and paprika.

  2. 14

    Roast the Potatoes

Spread potatoes on a baking sheet and roast in the oven at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes until crispy and golden, stirring halfway through.
