Crostini Base

Method

Prepare the Crostini

  1. 1

    Grill the Baguette

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Slice the baguette diagonally into 1/2 inch thick slices.

  2. 2

    Roast the Garlic

Wrap the garlic cloves in aluminum foil with a drizzle of olive oil. Place on the grill and roast for about 15-20 minutes until soft and fragrant.

  3. 3

    Toast the Baguette

Brush both sides of each baguette slice with olive oil. Grill on each side for about 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.

Make the Pesto

  1. 4

    Blend Ingredients

In a food processor, combine the basil leaves, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, garlic clove, and salt. Pulse until finely chopped.

  2. 5

    Add Olive Oil

With the food processor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the pesto reaches your desired consistency. Add lemon juice and pulse a few more times to combine.

Assemble the Crostini

  1. 6

    Spread Pesto

Spread a generous amount of pesto on each toasted baguette slice.

  2. 7

    Add Toppings

Top each slice with sun-dried tomatoes and a piece of burrata cheese. Sprinkle shaved Parmesan on top.

  3. 8

    Drizzle Balsamic

Finish by drizzling with white balsamic vinegar before serving.
