Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt.

  3. 3

    Combine Mixtures

Once the yeast mixture is frothy, add it to the flour mixture along with olive oil. Stir until a dough forms.

  4. 4

    Knead Dough

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  5. 5

    Let Dough Rise

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes or until doubled in size.

Pizza Assembly

  1. 6

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) while the dough is rising.

  2. 7

    Shape Pizza Base

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into two equal portions. Roll out one portion into a personal-sized pizza shape.

  3. 8

    Add Sauce and Cheese

Spread 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce over the pizza base. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese evenly.

  4. 9

    Add Toppings

Arrange pepperoni slices, bell pepper, and olives on top of the cheese. Sprinkle with dried oregano.

  5. 10

    Bake Pizza

Transfer the pizza to a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

  6. 11

    Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a minute, slice it up, and enjoy your mini pizza!
