Cook the Sausage
In a large pot or Dutch oven, over medium heat, add the sliced alligator sausage. Cook for about 5 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.

Add the Chicken and Spices
Return the smoked chicken and cooked sausage to the pot. Stir in the Cajun seasoning, espelette pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Add Rice and Broth
Add the long-grain rice and chicken broth to the pot. Stir everything together and bring to a boil.

Simmer
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 20 minutes until the rice is cooked and has absorbed the liquid.

Add Okra and Shrimp
Stir in the okra and gulf shrimp. Cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.

Serve
Remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
